Texas Redfish Tournament Series - Tournament Payout Structure

The tournament payout is based on paying the top 20% of the field. These numbers are based on 100 boats in the tournament. In addition, anglers will have the option to enter the Tournament Within A Tournament which pays out 100% of the entries. With 100 boats in the the Tournament Within A Tournament, first prize will increase to $11,000.00, second will increase to $6,000.00 and third place will jump to $3,600.00. In 2007, we will introduce the new Tour Reward's Program to reward teams who fish all of the redfish tournaments.

Tour Rewards Program

1. Teams who sign-up for all three tournaments before the first tournament will receive a 20% bonus added on to their winnings (excluding the Tournament Within the Tournament).

2. Each team registered for the rewards program will receive additional Redfish Series Tour Pro Stickers for their boat and truck.

3. Top three teams in the Tour Rewards Program will receive prizes (tackle and fishing gear).

4. Any Tour Rewards team who places in the top 20 (in Team of the Year points) will receive free entry into the championship.

Tournament Within the Tournament
Anglers who wish to fish for even bigger prize money have the option to enter the Tournament Within the Tournament. The Tournament Within the Tournament is an additional $100.00 per team with 100% of the pot going to the top 3 teams. First Place team entered in the TWTT will receive 50% of the pot. Second Place team entered in the TWTT will receive 30% of the pot. Third Place team entered in the TWTT will receive 20% of the pot. Additional prize money with 100 Teams entered in the TWTT. 1st Place $5,000.00 2nd Place $3,000.00 3rd Place $2,000.00

Championship Entry Fees are $300.00 (for those who do not qualify through the Rewards Program). The $100.00 Tournament Within A Tournament at the championship will be paid out both days. 50% of the pot will be split by the top three teams after day one. 50% of the pot will be split by the top three teams in weight from day two. This gives teams a chance to win some money even if they have a rough day. There is no 20% Rewards Bonus in the Championship.
